That Ing Hang Stupa - LAOS
That Ing Hang is located 15 kilometers along the Seno road in the north of Savannakhet.
It is the most impressive stupa and sacred religious place for Savannakhe people.
The relic that you will find their dates back several centuries and attracts a number of tourists and Buddisht pilgrims each year,
particularly during the full moon in February, when a religions ceremony is celebrated in its honors.
That Ing Hang stupa, built in the mid-16th century during the reign of King Sikhottabong.
The towering stupa, at the base of which is a hollow chamber with an impressive collection of Buddha images,
is the site of a large festival held every February or March.
