LAVRAN TEMPLE - MONGOLIA
In the large walled compound of Erdene Zuu are several temples. One of these temples is
the large white temple of Lavran at the far end of the compound.
The architecture and decorations of this temple are very Tibetan influenced.
The flat roof of the temple is encircled with a brown border and copper disks are placed rhytmically on its walls.
