MAHABUDDHA TEMPLE - NEPAL
Situated in the south of Uku Baha and inside a small cramped courtyard, Mahabuddha temple is dedicated to Siddhartha Gautama. It was built by priest Abhaya Raj of Patan. Mahabuddha is modeled on the Mahabodhi Temple at Bodhgaya, India and completely made of terracotta. In this temple every brick contains a fine figure of the Buddha. So, the complex is called "the temple of a thousand Buddhas"
