TSING MA BRIDGE - HONGKONG


The Tsing Ma Bridge stretching from Tsing Yi Isle to Ma Wan (Bay), is 22,000 meters long, and its concrete towers is 206 metres tall. Construction of Tsing Ma Bridge commenced in May 1992 and completed in May 1997. It is the longest suspension bridge for both vehicle and railway purposes in the world. It was open to traffic in 1997, linking Landau Island and the urban districts.
