PETRA THE ROCK CARVED CITY - JORDAN
The Ancient City located at the capital of the Nabataean Empire
from 400 B.C. to 106 A.C. The city was carved in the narrowest canyons
of Western Jordan. It was home to 20,000 Arab nomads since Roman times.
