BỬU PHONG PAGODA - VIỆT NAM


Bửu Phong Pagoda is located in Tân Bửu Village , Biên Ḥa . It was originally a small Buddhist leaf but set up by the Most Venerable Bửu Phong in the 17th century. According to " the Records of Unified Đại Nam" Mount Bửu Phong is 13 miles South of Phước Chánh province, overlooking a big river in the west and safeguarding Mount Long An in the rear. On the mountain lies Bửu Phong Pagoda hidden among wandering clouds and the dense foliage of tall trees; it is indeed the foremost beautiful scenery in the province. There used to be a Buddhist monk named Bửu Phong, who erected a leaf hermitage on the mountain, which has been popularly known as Mount Bửu Phong.
